ScoutForce started as an idea between co-founders Andrew Iacco and Phil Brabbs.
As former collegiate athletes (see Phil’s video to the right and skip to the 5:20 mark to see the good part) we had the opportunity to see a small fraction of the paperwork that is involved in the traditional recruiting process, and even that seemed overwhelming. After talking with a frustrated coach who was managing all his recruiting data with outdated technology (and who, consequently, had piles of paper records overtaking his small office), we realized that we were in a unique position to provide relief. Not only had we seen the inner workings of university athletic programs, we possessed the technical know-how and professional experience at a Fortune 100 company to build a program that would streamline the recruiting process. We had the power to help. And we decided to use our power for good. We created ScoutForce.
Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, home of The University of Michigan, we had access to and solicited feedback from college recruiters and coaches while developing ScoutForce. We listened to what they had to say and developed our software to meet the real needs of real coaches. We’re always looking for ways to improve ScoutForce, so let us know your pain-points in recruiting. We’ll listen to you, too.
